Doula Services
We support families through pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period with compassionate, comprehensive care. Our experienced doulas provide emotional and physical support during labor, create a calm and empowering environment, and offer the education you need to make informed birth choices. After delivery, we continue to guide new parents with breastfeeding support, infant care, and postpartum adjustment.

Meet Our CEO
Hello, I’m Kara (she/her/they). I grew up in San Francisco and have always felt deeply connected to its communities, witnessing both their vibrancy and the challenges they face. My experiences navigating trauma, systemic barriers, and life’s complexities inspired me to create Kara’s Care Connections—a place rooted in empowerment, connection, and compassionate support. With a background in Criminal Justice and years of work as a doula, I lead a dynamic team of peer support specialists, doulas, and licensed professionals committed to helping clients thrive. I am honored to give back to the city that shaped me and to help strengthen and uplift the communities I love.
